The only issue as I see it, is if the officer is lying or not.
If he is telling the truth, then all is fine.
It would be nice if officers carried some sort of recording device on their person as well as on the car. Not only would it clear up a lot of these issues, but if the officer KNEW they were on camera, you would see over all better behavior.
