Gamecube has a bunch of shitty games, but so does every other console out there. Choosing the good games is what makes a console good or bad. Play all of the bad games, and you'll hate the console. Play the good ones, and you'll love it.

IGN is the key. Don't play anything that gets below 8.5 and you won't be disappointed. If you want another source, get a subscription to Electronic Gaming Monthly. Best damn gaming magazine out there; I've had a subscription for nearly 10 years.
