Why would you want to be lied to?

Both of your senarios (multiple partner and non-traditional sex) easily fit #1 and #3 if your definition of "right, proper, or good" coincide with the traditional christian, jewish, and moslem view of morality. Don't have the numbers in front of me, but I think that's a large majority of the people on the planet.
As for #2: monogamous people don't spread syphillis, crabs, etc. which seems worse than not having these things.
Maybe you're uncomfortable with the word "perverted", but if the word fits on a planet-wide comparison basis, then you really have no reason to complain.
