I started off really thin I'm talking 6'4" 150 pounds outta high school. I have been hitting the weights for about 3 years now and I tell you what it took me about 6-8 months before I started gaining weight and personally seeing my own gains from the weight room. As long as you concentrate on your form in the gym and get plenty of rest days (don't over lift you can't get big in one day or week) you will see results eventually it depends on your genetics and body style. Just be patient and stick with it and pick up some protein shakes and drink 2-3 of them a day and you'll start seeing gains!!
