I would tend to agree with those people posting about a need for intimacy. It’s really an act of love rather than sex. Sex is the act of intercourse without any emotional attachment or meaning behind it and love is the sharing of a deeper intimacy through intercourse. I’ve had both over they years and the sex is no doubt good. It’s like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich... who doesn’t like that? But making love is like having steak, lobster, strawberry cheese cake and every other kick ass food rolled into one. There is virtually no comparison because of the amount of emotional attachment with the experience.

To answer the original question… I could live my life without “sex”, but I don’t think I would want to live a life without “love”
