Tuesday Morning Quarterback?
Greg Easterbrook wrote a column called Tuesday Morning Quarterback (affectionately known as TMQ) for ESPN.com. I used to read it every week. He was fired from ESPN after making some allegedly anti-semitic statements on another website. There's already a thread on this in the Politics forum, but it has become, and properly so, a discussion of those statements.
TMQ had some of the best in depth football commentary I had ever seen, and alot of humor too. He would talk about what teams did inside the red zone or why teams would end up with third and long so often, and I would watch for it the next week. He would comment on cheerleaders -(cheerbabes), Maurice Clarrett vs the NFL and the NFL vs. the NBA, and throw in random but funny social and cultural commentary and football haikus too.
I wanted to start a thread and poll in Sports to see if anyone else had read TMQ, or if I was just a geek, what ya'll thought about it, and for us to lament it's passing. ESPN has removed all refrences to it on their website, so the archives are unavailable.
