Grapes for the 2002 Yulupa Chardonnay were harvested in mid-September after an exceptional growing season. Thirty percent of the juice was barrel fermented and aged on the lees in French and American oak barrels. A portion of the wine underwent malolactic fermentation to create a subtle round character. The remaining juice was fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve the bright, citrus flavors balanced in this wine.
Hmmmmmmm.....sounds good!
*Minx leans back in the hot tub (oh boy that feels good!!!!) and sips her wine while awaiting the appearance of K-Wise.*
