A long time ago, I used to take gallon jugs of coins to the bank and have them count them for me - at that time, they took a 3% cut - still well worth avoiding the hassle of counting and rolling them by hand.
It used to average out at around $400 per jar. Of course, this wasn't just pennies - it was mostly quarters (bartending tips)
