Back in college I worked for the schoole newspaper. All-nighters for two nights in a row were a fairly common occurence. If I got four hours of sleep on a Tuesday or Wednesday night, I was the luckiest guy in the world.
Our darkroom was pretty far away from the composition room, where the rest of the paper was layed out. I worked it so that I'd lean up against the wall of the hallway and take a catnap while my body movved my feet along. Got a good thrity seconds in that way.
Plus, you learn to sleep anywhere. Can't even tell you how many tables I slept on... or under.
