The cervix is much lower than the belly button. On the average woman I'd estimate it's only ~5" from her vaginal introitus. The top (fundus) of the uterus will be higher than the belly button in the later stages of pregnancy, but the cervix never gets much higher than it's normal place. (During sexual excitement, the vagina expands outward and upward, moving the cervix up a bit. But I would suspect it's only an inch or two higher.
Pressing hard on the belly button would likely hurt because the umbilical stalk is somewhat firm in comparison to the surrounding tissues
