Alright, so, i have stumbled upon a 1982 Reliant K w/ 45,xxx miles on it, no rust, amazing condition, etc. The old lady is asking 500 for it. I need a good beater car for the winter, and I think that this would be a good investment. However, I'm asking everyone here for input on what sucks about the K-cars, etc. Any suggestions on stuff i should do is welcome.
Also, how have i seen videos of these cars going 10's in the 1/4, do they just drop a total new engine/tranny in them, as they are uber light or something? <I dont plan on doing this, im just curious>
