Hmm, I think you missed the very stylized, camp tone of the movie. I mean the organization The Bride was a part of is called the DiVAS. That aside, I didn't like the movie as much as I thought I would. The dialogue seemed stale, which is disappointing because that's in Tarantino's wheelhouse. The action, which
is the movie, was good but didn't particularly jump out at me as being amazing. Paying homage to Asian action film is nice but it's not something we haven't seen before. If you're into absurd violence I suggest checking out something like "The Story of Ricky" (remember the exploding head from the Daily Show?). Tarantino was perfect with his music selection though. The music of most movies seems to be an afterthought but it really does make a difference when it is chosen carefully.
