I'd say stretch marks as well.
I've got some in my hip/ass area, probably in the same spot you'r describing. And a few on my knees, which is weird...They pretty much just appeared after my last big growth spurt.
They're normal, many people have them.
Or it could be the little stapler man. Or alien worms...
