She's really not a good actress, nor is she very smart, from what I've read in interviews. The Playboy shoot was a good idea as it drummed up not only publicity for her but also for the movie (and I believe Playboy featured a Tarantino interview in either that issue or the previous one). I thought the pictures were fine, although I agree that a few were a little freaky (like the ones of her in the short, dark-haired wig). But in all seriousness, if I'm looking for nudity, Playboy is not where I go.
I also agree she should just be thankful that Tarantino is giving her career a boost. She's gone just about nowhere since Splash as far as I can tell.
BTW, I don't know about Volume 2, but she's only in Volume 1 for maybe 10 minutes or so, and she doesn't say much. Which is probably for the best.
