Saw this in a Daria episode once. They go down the alphabet with it and pass it around. It could be a real food or something ridiculous. I remember on Daria's turn she had "C" and she said "I'm going to the picnic and I'm bringing the Cryogenically frozen head of Walt Disney" So lets play and when we get to Z we'll start all over again or some shit.
