Lurkette, that article makes me froth at the mouth!!
Melbourne is nice... if you like grey.
everything in Melbourne is grey.
the buildings, the weather, the mood, the yarra river (well, no thats brown), the dirty sand and the clothes.

you´ll never, ever find a Sydneysider agreeing with that clearly biased poll.

having been to Vancouver, i´d say it should be in the top ten, but not above Sydney.

as for putting Perth above Sydney, and then ranking Adelaide and BrisVegas as equal is just insulting. i´m shocked that anyone would even consider that!!

btw, has anyone had a guess at where The Age is published??
its a Melbourne daily... nuff said!

a number of people have called Melbourne the asshole of the earth... i disagree, but they´re not far off, since the asshole of the earth is really Port Augusta.
