yeah, but it is also great to see sammy stealing bases, hitting singles and scrabbling like the old days when he was a 30-30 guy. he's pumped and trying to get the ball in play, not just get it out of the park.
i'm one of those rare northside and southside fans (a windy city series would both delight and rip me apart). i wish frank thomas had some of sammy's attitude -- maybe the white sox wouldn't have laid down to minnesota.
