What's compelling is watching Sosa's discipline from the last 5 years completely dissapear this year. 1997-2002 he was very close to a 1 to 1 strikeout to walk ratio, now he's back to the early Sammy, swining at everything, with an almost 3 to 1 ratio.
It's also compelling to watch what some consider to be one of the best contact hitters in baseball, Garciaparra go 2 for 25 in the post-season.
If you like compelling stories and the drama of it all, I guess it's the best. If you like good baseball, go watch the little league kids play at 7 tonight.
(Yes, I'm a Cubs fan also.)
