i got a haircut appointment today. i've been using the same person for over a year.
she washes my hair twice, while applying different lotions to it and massaging and all that good stuff. she never uses a trimmer - only scisors. trimmer is only used to edge my sideburns.
oh...and she's a hot, late 20's south-american girl. reallly nice.
I live it up to her as to what needs to be done. i just tell her that i want it short, then she styles it a certain way. looks good every time, i never complain.
the whole process is rather pricy. definately more than i'd really like to pay for a haircut. but the outstanding service makes it woth it to me.
