A good friend of mine and I used to do something similar. She worked as the manager for an appt. complex, and we could easily see out the front door toward approaching customers.
When no one was coming, and she was on the phone, I had the pleasure of teasing her mercilessly....one time I was on the phone with a friend of mine and she did the same....I must say, those were good times.
