You are forgetting that in the creation of Israel, land promised to the Palastinians after they helped the British fight in WW2 ( see the film Lawrence of Arabia) was then given to Israel. The promise was forgotten, and 780,000 Palastinians were forced out at gun point, and THAT is why the arabs rejected the formation of Israel, and the war started. Its never so black and white.
