Well, I grew up in Dublin, Ireland and nothing (nothing) compares to my home town.
BUT... I believe that is characteristic of most people. They all love their homes (most do at least).
Having said that, I've also spent a lot of time in many different cities around the world. And I now live in Sydney.
It is, without doubt, the best city in the world I've ever lived in. Whilst it doesn't have everything I would like (less cultural and historical depth than say Rome or Paris, or even London), it is the best "all-rounder".
Sydney also typically tops the polls for most popular or desireable city in global surveys.
Sydney Rocks (no pun intended to my co-metropolitan colleague; inside joke...)
It's not home, but it's so much nicer in many other ways!
