Y'know, who really knows what goes on in the mind of celebrities? They're people like you and me, they just have bigger bank accounts and have a whole lot more people looking at them a whole lot more frequently.
Maybe she says what she says to deflect too many people from calling her a tramp, and maybe she does it because she is, in retrospect, regretting the shoot. People do things they sometimes feel bad about later.
