I suggested a philosophy forum in the suggestions area. I thought that maybe it would prevent it from being lost in the shuffle of general discussion. But anyway, here's what Spleen said...
"well, philosophy IS discussion. And it can be pretty general at that too. We had discussions on whether a philosophy section would work, but we decided against it. Philosophy isn't everyone's game, and (like another forum that isn't here right now) might not get much activity.
It is in everyones best interest to keep it in general discussion, because it it there that the most open minds will go, the most closed minds will go, and the most amount of discussion will occur. And we all know how much there is to say about philosophy. There is A LOT to say, discuss, tell, ponder, etc."
So I dunno, it sounds like they want us to keep it in general discussion, but maybe if we got enough support...?
