I swear tons, as does my gf. We swear freely around our kid and she is well aware that those are "grown-up" swear words and she can say "Kid" swear words like crap or dork or doofus, etc. I really try not to be a hypocrite to my child...I want her to know who I am besides Daddy. I think that's a problem with many families....they don't let their kids learn who they are as ppl and keep this facade of another person that hides their humanity.
My kid has never sworn in public or embarrased us by picking up our "bad" habits. She understands the words are for grown-ups and she doesn't use them.

I happen to like the words "fuck", "cock", "pussy", "tits", "cunt", "twat", "shit" and even "bitch". As long as I am not using them to describe you, don't go telling me whether or not I can/should use them...that is, if you want me to continue refraining from using them to describe you. ~Prince
