I predicted this shortly after he announced he was running. Never underestimate the ability of people to blur fantasy and reality.
Something to take to heart and remember always:
Just because an actor plays a likeable character, it doesn't mean (s)he's not a complete jackass in real life. See Kevin Costner, Janeanne Garofaolo, Harrison Ford, etc.
