heh, come on now Hal.... 1.5 million plus, signed the petition. kinda cracked me up hearing the argument all through the recall about how silly it was that all you needed was 350,000 signatures to get the recall going and how it was too little. and that if this happens, it would start a trend for recalls to happen every election.
but like i said, look how many people signed the petition. by the time the votes are in, Arnold will easily have 2.5 million votes for him. also, in the past 8 gubenatorial elections in california, a recall HAS been attempted. they just never amounted to anything. and only one recall has succeeded besides this one in the last 80 years!
me personally, i don't align myself with any particular party. i prefer to research the candidates as much as i can and pick the person who i agree with most on all the perspective issues at hand. i was skeptical about all this before the petition for recall was approved. but after researching the "name" candidates, even down to the green party rep, Camejo, i believe Arnold will actually do a good job. Arnold knows more than people think. saying that he doesn't know shit is kinda ignorant in my opinion, and shows that you haven't really researched into much at all. i think that's one of the major problems about voters is they look to much to the media and smear tactics to help them make their decisions.
if any of you had actually read through Arnold's agenda, i think you'd be suprised. i know i was!
