Jet are freaking exploding on MTV2 right now... their video is pretty much every 4th one played...
They're pretty good... but I just can't get over the fact that they sound WAYYYYY too much like The Who (their current hit 'Are You Gonna Be my Girl' pretty much is the same as 'My Generation'). They lose a few originality points for that but overall I've liked what I heard.
A better (in my opinion) retro-style band out there these days is OK Go. They had a decent hit with Get Over It some months ago. They're excellent.
