Not sure if you mean alone as in no one else is aroud, or alone as in, no family, no friends. My mom died alone in July, alone only because she lived alone. She had many heath problems, but even knowing that, she died unexpectedly. That being said, I've thought about it and if she knew it was coming, it would have sucked to be all by herself with no one around to hold her hand or tell her it's ok or whatever.

I think that alone would have to be the worst.
