I try very hard to not lie. I don't like to compromise my integrity.
That doesn't mean that I tell you everything. Withholding the truth is not the same as lying.
But let me remind everyone we all make small lies... like,"Oh tell them I'm not in, I don't want to talk to him now." "Yes, that dress is really nice." I try very hard even in those circumstances to tell the truth as tactfully and respectfully as I can.
