hmm. are they just awakening and coming for you or is a necromancer calling them? if the necromancer is at work, it will not matter if you hit their brain or not.
blades. machette, swords, axes
shotguns, .50s, aresol cans and fire. also build a few swinging spikes for when too many get close.
try to put up pictures of boobies for distraction, too.......
