I second the "bladder infection" suggestion, but if she had a bladder infection that long, unless it was a borderline one that never got any worse, she'd likely be in serious agony.
Could be that she just has what's very helpfully called "frequent urination." My sister had it - she got a bladder infection once and after that she got paranoid and basically peed every hour and trained her bladder to go that often, so when she no longer had the infection, she still had to pee all the time. They have drugs for it that work pretty well to normalize things.
And if you're prone to bladder infections the doctors tell you to pee before and after sex, since sex can often jam bacteria into the urethra and start an infection.
