It depends on the area of gaming.
Traditional board and card games take up far less time than i would like.
Computergames, in the form of MMORPGs, take up much more time than i would like
( I am getting better though, i dont play every single day, and i havent had a 24 hour session for years
)
Games as a whole take up a lot of my time. I think it is one of the most interesting ways of interacting with other people.
