Thanks to all for responding.
What would you like to know?
The cases are real cases filed in civil court all over the country. We have no actors, except some in the audience who are out of work. We normally schedule 10 cases a day and shoot in three day blocks.
The litigants never see eachother until "showtime". They have producers assigned to them to rile them up a bit.
Some of the cases we do never see the final cut. Some back out at the last minute, which means an extra hour of drinking for me. (Each case is taped for an hour or so)
Sometimes I question the worth of humanity. Cases involving relatives who can't communicate and people's greed. We have had all sorts of scams and seedy individuals.
I can't believe that our courts are clogged with some of this petty nonsense. Often a shower still leaves me feeling dirty.
Then again, there are several funny ones.
