holy cow, maud dib.... but i do like the reasons.
Personally, i favor FDR-i think he had the vision to combine his personal ambition with a desire to improve the country, and he was the right man for the times. jefferson gets a nod, but mostly for his pre-presidential activities...but he proved to the nation that it was not going to be a one party show, and that counts for a lot.
