Reply to the email, and see if you can't ask her directly when she is planning on being back, and that you would like a concrete date that she will be back before.
My g/f and I talk on the phone more than 3 times a day, we are on the phone now. (I go to college in San Diego, and she is in high school in Marin county, basically 510.36 mile separation)
Keep at it, but get an answer to your question. This dancing around is obviously gone too far.
