As far as pizza places in chicago you have giordanos, it's a chain, but it offers much the same style of pizza as uno's and I personally think the pizza is a little better. There's a great italian restaurant by the name of maggianos (spelling?) that has a location or two, but if you go there expect to spend $20 a person or more. Other than that, there's tons of good restaurants, just explore.
