a normal egg bought from the grocery store....cooked how much protein.....
i have heard 20 grams but that sounds way to high considering a whole can of tuna fish which is 2.5 servings has 15g per serving coming out to like 40 per can....

An egg has about 6 grams of protein per whole egg. Egg whites by themselves contain 3 grams and are better for you than the yolks because they don't contain any fat or cholesteral. I hard boil my eggs and eat 6 in the morning (removing the yolks) with my oatmeal. When buying eggs in bulk, they come out to be about 1 dollar per dozen.
*note: the reason eggs are such a good source of protein is because it is whey protein in them which is the best protein there is.
