I thought we invaded iraq because it posed an imminent threat to america. What does that have to do with liberating civilians? There are plenty of other countries with oppressive dictators and i'm sure all of you war apologists will be screaming for the use of military force there as well.
How many times can you change your justification for an act in an attempt to justify it after the fact? I have no doubt that if they find WMD we will here, "See, we told you spineless liberals that there were WMDs" For now though, with no WMDs in sight, it seems to be all about liberating an oppressed people.
I'm sure though, that if it were a democrat in bush's place you'd hear the exact same arguments, just from opposite sides of the fence.
