FEL.
Stop. JUST STOP.
giving all those quotes is meaningless - posting thousands of news links (not to mention many outdated) is not going to help. guess what, they're what those people happen to think.
Where does it say 100,000 were executed a year. Nobody even knows whehter or not those bodies were from the Iran-iraq war (which supposedly was confirmed to be) from that warehouse.
If you're going to argue a point, posting hundreds of quotes won't mean a damn thing. Not to mention using sources from April 6, 2003, is not very useful when a few days later it was proven to be otherwise... (not to mention its nearly 6 months old).
there is no doubt its better than under saddam.
but where the hell does it say 100,000 a year. Where does it say those people are dying. Those are all what the media say. When 100 people die, everyone fucking screams atrocity. How or why they died is ignored.
its easy to blame everything on one man - in the same way its as easy to blame it all on bush or whatever. saddam is not even in the class of Hitler. Saddam is a wannabe. He is not the great dictator murderer everyone loves to say. Theres many dictators in the world and spots in the world who do just as bad - be it directly or indirectly. What are we doing for them? Oh wait, we put half of em in power in the first place...
So just please stop posting post after post and thread after thread full of news quotes. They're pointless. They don't get YOUR point across. All it does is weaken your own argument. Using quotes is the worst thing you can show - link the source, fine, but don't use it as your argument.
