I decided to go ahead and get a newer car while I slowly work on my 92 maxima.
Got a 1997 328i in Alpine white/Tan interior with a 5 speed transmission.
The maxima maybe a little faster through the 1/4 mile, but the bimmer is such a breath of fresh air in the handling department. And this car really moves on the highway. I raced two of my friends with 97 5 speed maximas with intake and full exhaust and I was either dead even or pulled away a little in 4th gear.
