The rankings look great from the MAC conference perspective. Northern Illinois is situated correctly, and Miami of Ohio is probably the best of the rest. They look good all the way through Ohio University.
Why would the WVA/Miami game have a lesser effect on Miami of Ohio then Cincinnati? After all, Miami of Ohio beat WVA?
I been holding my tongue, but I gotta tell you, Roadrage, I hate margin of victory being included in these formulas. USC may beat the scum of the Pac-10, Arizona, by 30 points. Ohio State may beat the scum of the Big-10, Northwestern, by twenty points. It doesn't mean one is more impressive than the other - teams that play and rely on defense and ball-control offense like Ohio State and Virginia Tech tend to be penalized. But Virginia Tech may be the best in the land.
Finally, this is alot of work and it's fun to look at, so thanks. All you people who are whining about where your team is, you need to realize that you can't judge RoadRage's formula until the end of the season - Texas, for example, will move up if they take care of business in the meat of their schedule.
