You could always have the situation that I came across once (but is prob more common than I know). I saw that the DVD of a concert was at the store for about $20 and the 2 CD version of the same concert was available for $25. Since the CD didn't contain anything more than the dvd, I bought the dvd and saved a few $$$ and was able to see the concert. I figured that if I really wanted to I'd somehow make a cd with the music from the dvd. (Note: I never made a cd with the music from the dvd)
