They put up with it because they get the players they need to win. Money isnt an issue as long as they win. The twins winning really isnt the issue. Its all about whethever Minn can support a major league team. At times the answer is no. The best thing for baseball would be to get rid of teams like Pitts, Tampa, Montreal and maybe Minn. The players association would never stand for it, but just think how much better the game would be. You wouldnt have double A guys as your 4th and 5th starters.

When is baseball actually about playing good baseball? It is really all about lining the pockets of m/billionaires.
I think it would be a much better game if it wasn't the classic "rich kids camp" v "rag-tag poor kids camp". A-rod's contract is worth more than the twins, how messed up is that? Maybe if the rangers just bought the twins and changed their name to the rangers they'd actually be in the playoffs.
