Many many ways. Trapped under rubble of a building like on Sept. 11th hoping someone will find you or being trapped under an avalanche. Drowning, much worse drowning underneath a frozen lake because you stepped on thin ice and you can see the people above you desperately trying to free you. Dying in quick-sand. But to me...best I can think of as the worst kinds of deaths are when you're pinned in a certain position that allows you to be alive...but once you're taken out of it you die. This happens a lot in automobile accidents and train accidents where people are run over. A good example is the begining of the movie Signs where the wife is pinned against the tree. Because see you're completely conscious and you almost feel perfectly fine and you can completely and compitently converse with those around you..which are normally your loved ones who are bidding you farewell it's not like when you're on your death bed and you can barely make anything out it's completely clear. I imagine....in my own personal opinion...that that is quite possibly hands down the worst way to die. Some may agree with me.
