I'm sure that most, if not all, of the religious terminology Bush uses in speaches are generic references to a God. God bless the USA, a nation led by God, etc. When pushed in an interview he will admit he's a Jesus guy, but I don't remember any specific religious references in a public speach. I personally don't want to hear a President bringing a God into it at all. He/She can pray and ask for help from who ever she/he wants on his/her own time, that's her/his business. When she/he stands up and gives a speach to the Nation, Congress, the U.N., etc. he's/she's representing ALL the people and has a job to do. To pander to those that believe in a God is misrepresentation to those that don't. To protect freedom Of religion, you must protect freedom From religion, regarding public stuff.
