I work for a TV show, so:
- Different every day. Each show has it's own needs.
- Fastpaced. TV producers want things NOW, so you have to be on alert at all times.
- Interesting people. Talk shows see celebrities on a daily basis. I get paid to see people sing/play music that other people dish out big bucks for.
- Good pay. And since I'm hourly, I benefit from time and a half, double time, and short turn around rules. A heavy taping week is big bank.
- The hours. A normal taping day is 7-3, which means I can come home and see my kid and wife before dinner time.
