If it has a sharp odor it could also be a sign of bladder infection but often you will feel like you're peeing needles too or within a couple hours. Just know if you start smelling your pee you need to drink lots of water. Lots of water helped infection by flushing things out and helps dehydration too so either way it won't hurt to just drink lots.
