It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it concentrates mainly on Social Welfare, although Religion & Spirituality and Healthcare are secondary priorities. The average income tax rate is 51%, and even higher for the wealthy. A tiny private sector is dominated by the Gambling industry.

Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown. Habes's national animal is the hawk, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the duros.
