I know this won't be a popular opinion, but I enjoyed Dark Summit and Amped (although I believe both are exclusively for the XBox) alot more than Tricky...though I think the Tony Hawk series is unrivaled in the extreme sport category, anyways. As for Gran Turismo, I prefer my Mario Kart's and F-Zero's more than the simulation-style racing games. They simply don't appeal to me. I aven't played Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 yet, so I can't judge it, but I will try to give it a rental sometime so I can base an opinion on it.
Don't take me as saying "I despise every PlayStation game EVER!!!", but I do not have the same entertainment with the PS2 that other people seem to have.

Perfectly understandable. I commend you on not being a flamer! Hot Pursuit 2 is more arcade-ish, but it still has a bit of simulation in it. You may like it; may not. I love Mario Kart and F-Zero, so I feel ya on that one. I actually enjoyed Gran Turismo 2 more than 3 because you got to build a car from the ground up instead of automatically winning a good car after a few races.
I admit I got tired of the first SSX, but I'm still not over Tricky. I think it's just my type of game. The control scheme is more like an extenstion of my mind instead of buttons. I think EA nailed the Uber-trick system perfectly. SSX 3 looks pretty badass as well; I hope it's awesome.
